José Moral(II)

José Moral is a Spanish filmmaker whose work spans feature films, short-form narrative and documentary. He began his career in the early 2000s directing Estigmas and later Regeneration, establishing a reputation for visually driven genre storytelling and atmospheric filmmaking. Throughout his career he has collaborated with legendary Spanish actor and genre icon Paul Naschy, and has worked across multiple departments including directing, editing and Steadicam operator. His documentary Psicofonías: las voces desconocidas (2020) continued his exploration of elevated suspense and metaphysical themes, and he has also directed music videos and commercial work with a distinct cinematic style. Moral frequently combines psychological drama with genre elements, focusing on character, mood and bold visual language. He is currently developing several new film projects and international co-productions.
