Biography

Yuki is a Chinese filmmaker born and raised in Wuhan and based in Los Angeles. She graduated from UCLA with an Art History degree and shifted her focus to filmmaking ever since.

As a director, she pursues work that explores complex human nature and synesthetic connections between memory and reality. Her previous films have been selected at numerous Oscar Qualifying festivals and are screened in France, Italy, China, India, and the US. Her commercial work has gathered more than 2M+ accumulative views on social media platforms like Bilibili and Tik Tok.

As a producer, she started her production company, Salon de Paprika, in 2022 and has developed a global clientele. The company focuses on creating a virtual space where real connections are made and on pushing the boundary of storytelling with sound, images, and new technologies.
