  • Nitesh Rathod is an Indian film editor who started his career from Corporate Av's and short films. He worked in Pune at the initial stage and later moved to Mumbai. Nitesh Belongs to the historical city Aurangabad from the state of Maharashtra. He completed education till Higher Secondary School in Aurangabad and later enrolled himself in "Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University" in Pune for "Mass Communication and Journalism". He Joined "Encylomedia Studios" of Mihir Apte while studying Mass Communication.

    He moved to Mumbai in the year 2012. He took lessons of editing from Mr. Jayant Jathar and worked with him for films like 3:56 Killari, Timepass, Dusri Goshta, Vitti Dandu, etc.

    The List of Short Films he edited are Wake up, Chitra, School Bag, The Dark Passenger, Spasta Niza, Udi. Etc. Documentaries like Pralay Pratyay based on Panshet & Khadakwasla dam break incident and also a Documentary of Naam Foundation.

    He was awarded at various short film festivals for his edited short film "Udi" for Best Editing, some of them are; My Mumbai Short Film Festival, Haltya Chitranchi Spardha, Ek Cutting Chai Short Film Festival, Konkan Short Film Festival, Karad International Short Film Festival, etc.

    He was nominated for Best Editing for his upcoming film "Pari Hoon Main: i'm a fairy" in Madrid International Film Festival.
