Raised in Kamloops, Trent grew up writing plays, watching matinees and reading comics. In university, Trent and two friends founded 3 Men of Sin Theatre productions and produced over 40 plays in the company's eight-year existence. Now, the Associate Dean of the School of Media & Performing Arts and the School of Design at George Brown Polytechnic, Trent runs the George Brown Theatre School, the Dance programs in partnership with Jorgen Dance, Fashion programs, Jewellery programs, Design programs and numerous Media programs which allows him to be hands on and Executive Produce amazing student work building towards careers in film, television and streaming.
