- Madeleine White is motivated to make films that can translate deep emotion. She believes personal, raw, unique and original stories allow for the practice of empathy in audiences where everyday interpersonal skills are being replaced by technology. She is pursuing a BA Honors degree in Film and Television at London College of Communication, as their youngest admit ever to the program at only 17. Since her first film at age 14, she has gone on to win awards at festivals around the world. She has completed both deeply evocative and personal short films as well as commercial work through production company Adolescent Content. 'Perception' Madeleine's first film, a short documentary, launched her career as a selection for the Independent Filmmaker's Showcase Los Angeles. Her short film 'Blue' premiered at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, and experimental short 'Flight' was shown at Junior High Gallery in Los Angeles. Her latest short film 'Cat' has already been accepted into multiple international festivals. By 17, Madeleine has already written a feature screenplay that focuses on the role of technology in the world of a young girl struggling to cope with the loss of her twin brother. Madeleine is a hardworking, passionate, and ready to take her filmmaking to the next level.
