Lujain Jo is a filmmaker, video-journalist and performance artist with over ten years of diverse media experience. Her first feature film, Rahhala, is made up of four video-essays filmed across 10 cities on jellyfish,
marine life, animals, and robots. In addition, she produced a multi-award winning
short-film Al Hmar, set in 500 B.C. Phoenicia. She has
worked with multiple media platforms and organizations from Associated Press, Megaphone News and
Anti-Racism-Movement to Khateera and Amnesty International. Her daily documentation of Lebanon's uprisings was featured on international media platforms such as BBC, Aljazeera, Arte and Vice.
