Hollie Buhagiar is a BAFTA award winning composer and acclaimed vocalist based in London, who specialises in crafting bespoke scores for film and TV.
Hollie affectionately credits much of her sound to Gibraltar, her motherland, where during her most formative years she was immersed in its singularly unique heritage and landscape. She is hailed across the industry for her distinct sonic palette and innate ability to create hybrid, high-concept scores that often feature her vocal work, avant-garde sensibilities and technological expertise. Graduating from Leeds College of Music with first-class honours in Music production, she continued on to complete a Masters at the prestigious National Film and Television School.
Career highlights include Royal Kill List (Music+Sound Awards nominee/ Sky Original), Jack The Ripper: Written In Blood (Music+Sound Awards nominee/ Sky Original) Poles Apart (BAFTA-winning), The Date (BAFTA Cymru nominee), I Really Love My Husband (SXSW), White Ant (Sundance), Unfair (Channel 4), Seal and the City (Netflix), The Long Away Game (Warner Bros.), Sandstorm (Sundance), and Cradled (Channel 4).
Hollie recently had the honour of performing as a soloist in the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. She is a Guinness World Record holder through her collaboration with Donne - Women in Music and her vocals can be heard across productions such as Doctor Who (BBC), Bodies (Netflix), Elite (Netflix) and more.
