Biography

  • Chris Aable has lived in the "four corners" of the United States, from Hollywood, Florida to Hollywood, California and from Manhattan, New York to Seattle, Washington, along with growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast the island of Guam. By the age of seven, Chris had developed a passion for the romance and history of collecting and investing in antiques, starting with buying and selling old bottles, comic books, vintage toys and by the time he was in his teens, had branched out into rare stamps, coins, autographs and collector cards. While still an adolescent, Chris Aable moved to Hollywood where he has lived most of his life, opening a branch office for his company in Beverly Hills while also developing many skills in the entertainment industry. In his teens, he had written over three hundred songs and poems which were later published as a book of poetry by Heartwind Publications. In his early twenties, he produced and orchestrated hundreds of music compositions and played keyboards in a band called "Pan", named after the mythical god of music. His pop rock band performed at conventions and county fairs, with some audiences numbering over 50,000 fans. Also during his twenties, Chris studied with many prominent acting coaches, including Jeff Goldblum and Gedde Watanabe. He soon appeared in several national commercials, TV appearances including a recurring "Under ten" role on General Hospital and landed several small film roles. Additionally, Chris hosted and produced two local, Los Angeles TV talk shows, Hollywood Today and Misadventures in Hollywood, both of which aired in over a hundred cities in Southern California and on the Manhattan Neighborhood Cable Network throughout New York City and Long Island. Between the two shows, he interviewed over a hundred celebrities, including comedians Gilbert Godfrey and Bruce Vilanch, the comedy writer for The Brady Bunch TV series and head writer for the Oscars for many years, as well as interviews with historical news makers such as Marc Christian and Mitch Grobson. Chris considered his agent, Bill Lee with The Talent Bank Talent Agency, to be a close friend. After Bill Lee passed away suddenly in a motorcycle accident, Chris decided to quit show business for a while and pursue what he considered to be more important priorities. He pursued master's degrees in psychology and sociology. Chris spent most of the 1990s earning degrees in Human Services, and graduated from UCLA's Instructor Development Program, Cal State LA with honors in 1997. He taught Psychology, Sociology, World Politics, Critical Thinking Skills and Human Development to Nursing and Medical Students at CSULA, Santa Monica College and to Foster Family parents and Social Workers. In the year 2000, Chris Aable was personally selected by the head of the Santa Monica College Psychology Department, to teach distinguished students working towards degrees in advanced medical care. He was was also chosen to teach exceptionally bright high school students in Santa Monica College's Dual Enrollment Program. This was an innovative program in which exceptionally bright senior high school students were enrolled in College and high school simultaneously, including Venice High School, Manchester High School and Hamilton High School, the later of which is just South of Beverly Hills and thus had many actors and actresses among Dr. Aable's students. According to the heads of both the Psychology and Sociology Departments, Drs. Michael Wapner and Terry R. Kandal, Chris Aable's student evaluations at both CSULA and Santa Monica College were among the highest they had ever seen. With the help of several employees in several states and three countries, Chris now runs several internet companies that in turn own about two hundred web domains with over $100 million in sales, most of which he paid to staff, family and friends along with several charities over the years. His companies are planning to develop many of his websites into a network of interactive video, edutainment, biographical and autobiographical websites. Chris Aable's songs can be found at online stores such as Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play/YouTube, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, Instagram/Facebook, etc., along with ReverbNation where Aable's songs have consistently been within the top 10 to 20 in the Los Angeles Singer/Songwriter categories. Chris Aable was on the forefront of making the term "Self-Evolution" more of a common yet important word, even before it was finally placed in online dictionaries. His philosophy of "Self-Evolution" is deeply rooted in his many years of study and teaching Sociology, Psychology and World Politics, and in short, Self-Evolution proposes that we can learn and understand more about ourselves and others, we can teach with patience, we can grow, we can chose to evolve (construction) or devolve (destruction).
