Biography

Tarnesha Small is an actress, writer, and producer whose work spans network television, streaming film, and new media. Known for her range and screen presence, she has built a steady career across a diverse slate of projects in both dramatic and comedic roles.

She is perhaps best recognized for her recurring role on the Fox drama Our Kind of People and her series regular role on the Tubi original First Family. Her television credits also include Celebrity Prank Wars on E!, CBS's The Inspectors, and guest and co-star appearances on Investigation Discovery and TV One.

Set for a Fall 2026 release, A Beautiful Lie marks Small's debut as a writer and producer through her production company, CTS Entertainment, a short film in which she also stars. Shot in 2025, the project signals an exciting new chapter as she steps into her full creative voice on both sides of the lens. Her additional film credits include lead roles in The Burglar, Elicit, and The Devil's Paw, released through Tubi and BET Plus respectively.

A committed student of the craft, Small has trained with some of the industry's most respected coaches, including Sara Mornell, GregAlan Williams, Crystal Carson, and Troy Rowland.
