Biography

Graduated from the National School of Cinematography of Mexico (UNAM), she has received grants from the Young Creators Program of National Art Fund (2016), the Sundance Collab Institute (2021) and she also participated in the Berlinale Talents FICG (2020). She has written and directed the short films "Turquoise" (2014); "Mariachi Nights" (2016) and "Venus 2.0" (2016) participating in more than 50 festivals nationally and internationally. Her most recent short film "April's last memories" (2020) was part of the Official Competition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, Morelia International Film Festival, Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival, Chicago Latino Film Festival, Trieste Ibero-American Film Festival and Copenhagen Short Film Festival among others. He received the Best Mexican Fiction Short Film Award at the 15th edition of Shorts Mexico and the Best Director Award at the World Independent Cinema Awards in Poland, 2021.
