Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Tommy Moore is an actor and comedian who has made several TV appearances, and more than 4,000 stage appearances, since surviving a near fatal beating in 1986. Known as The Professor of Fun, Tommy incorporates vaudeville and Catskill-style mannerisms and costumes in his film and live performances. He is best known for appearances on The Joe Franklin Show, Saturday Night Dead, and The People's Choice Awards.

He first appeared on stage at the age of 6 with Bill Haley &amp; The Comets.

On April 2, 1986, he was savagely beaten and left for dead during a robbery. Doctors said he would never set foot on stage again. Since then, he has made more than 4,000 appearances in comedy clubs, theaters, and casinos.

Authored &quot;A Ph.D. in Happiness from the Great Comedians&quot;, about life lessons he learned from some of the most famous names in stand-up comedy.

Has one of the largest comedy LP and joke book collections in the United States.

Co-founded The Moore Regional Hospital Clowns in Pinehurst, N.C., which visits more than 1,500 patients a year.

Wrote his &quot;Comedy Corner&quot; newspaper column for 11 years.
