Kamiar Tarighi is a multifaceted director, producer, production manager, entrepreneur, and martial artist, whose diverse career spans across the entertainment, sports, technology, and business sectors. He is best known for his contributions to productions such as Luxury Gala 2023 (2023), Luxury Gala 2020 (2020), and Luxury Gala 2019 (2019). He is also a co-founder of Samira's Network and Luxury Gala and has collaborated with other notable producers, including his involvement in the Family Film Awards.
Kamiar's passion for storytelling began in 1983 when he wrote and produced his first three plays. These plays were designed for training purposes: one focused on communication, another on law and order, and the third was a visual training tool for sports.
A highly accomplished athlete, Kamiar holds a 7th Dan Black Belt in Judo. He was a National Champion in the 55kg, 60kg, and 66kg divisions for 10 consecutive years. At the age of 16, he earned his Black Belt and began coaching Judo, as well as teaching sports to primary and middle school students. He later continued coaching Judo at the YMCA, universities, and private schools while pursuing other career ventures.
At the age of 20, Kamiar launched a marketing company specializing in creating video content for companies attending international expos. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Business Management and an MBA in Information Technology Management from Tehran University. Kamiar then traveled to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in Computers and Information Technology.
In the technology sector, Kamiar has numerous achievements. He earned Microsoft certifications, including MCSB (Microsoft Certified Site Builder) and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in 2000. In 2002, he received his DCSE (Dell Certified System Expert) accreditation and several other industry certifications. He founded his own computer company in 1999, providing custom computer assembly and networking services. Throughout his career, he worked with prestigious organizations such as SBC, Southwestern Bell, Bell Canada, Sprint Canada, and Microsoft, gaining recognition as a trusted technical expert in the Midwest region.
Balancing his technical expertise with his passion for the arts, Kamiar shifted his focus to entertainment production, co-founding Samira's Network and contributing to the success of numerous luxury and entertainment events in California.
