- John Hancock is a composer, producer, and songwriter with over thirty years of experience across film, television, and recorded music. His score for the animated short Ninety-Five Senses, directed by Jared and Jerusha Hess, earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short Film at the 96th Academy Awards. His work on Broke and Muscles & Mayhem: An Unauthorized Story of American Gladiators both reached the Netflix top 10. A founding member of the electronic music group Late Night Alumni alongside Kaskade, Hancock has spent decades balancing artist work with film and television scoring. He was selected as a Sundance Institute Composer Fellow in 2010 and has scored projects for Netflix, Sony Pictures, Hulu, Pixar, and Focus Features. He lives and works in Salt Lake City, Utah.
