- Jorron Lee Monroy is a Filipino television, film, and commercial director. He gained attention through short films screened at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in 2015, held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
In his early twenties, Monroy joined GMA Network as part of its roster of directors, working on scripted series and drama programs. Prior to directing, he worked as a writer across various television formats, including musical-variety, comedy, lifestyle, and children’s programming. He served as head writer and skit director for the children’s show "Tropang Potchi," which received a Silver World Medal at the 2014 New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards.
In 2020, Monroy moved into commercial filmmaking and later founded the production company Black House. Through the company, he has directed television and digital campaigns for brands in the beauty, pharmaceutical, and lifestyle sectors, including a digital campaign for Nike.
Monroy studied Organizational Communication at the University of the Philippines Manila.
