Katherine Banos is a New York based bi-coastal actor/writer/producer. She grew up in Syosset, New York on Long Island and has her BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts [Experimental Theater Wing & Stonestreet Studios]. She is also a graduate of the Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn. Her teachers and mentors include Terry Knickerbocker, Jessica Hecht, and Estelle Parsons.
Katherine has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, including working for NBCUniversal, Glickmania Entertainment, Scott Rudin productions, CBS Primetime Casting, Shakespeare Center of LA, the Lark Play Development Center, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Katherine's original short film, RING OF FIRE, was an official selection of 25 film festivals, nominated for 31 awards and winning 14.
