Biography

Johnny Salta was born and raised in Laguna Beach. His father was in the car dealing industry for the majority of his life and unfortunately had an untimely death when Johnny was fifteen. His mother has been a flight attendant with American Airlines for the past 45 years traveling internationally and at an early age had a passion as an actor. She studied at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute coincidentally where Johnny obtained his main training as an actor.

Johnny discovered his passion in the performing arts at a young age. He has a background in a variety of styles of dance. During a talent show in elementary school, he was recognized by a talent scout, which launched his interest as an actor. As a young actor he was featured in a Honda Pilot Industrial Commercial. He is now a union member with SAG/Aftra.

Growing up in Laguna Beach, it was difficult for Johnny to not become a beach rat. He is an avid Surfer and has been Skimboarding professionally for the past five years. When he's not at the beach he's jamming out on his multiple musical instruments such as the guitar, bass, piano, and drums. When the waves are flat you can find him surfing the concrete on his skateboard. And in the winter, he will head up to the mountains and spend time snowboarding. Pretty much anything on a board; water, land, or snow, Johnny will leave his mark. He has also spent a lot of time horseback riding growing up. He is a man of many interests and always looking for something new to explore into.
