Fredy Yate is a Colombian actor with a bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts, recognized for his work in high-profile international and Latin American film and television productions. Born in Pereira, in the heart of Colombia's coffee-growing region, Yate first discovered his passion for performance through traditional Colombian folk dance. From the age of 10, he pursued formal drama training across both Colombia and Spain, later earning his degree in Dramatic Arts from the joint program between Bogotá's prestigious Teatro Libre and the Central University of Colombia. Over a dynamic career across stage and screen, Yate has featured in prominent films including The 33, American Made, Loving Pablo, and Brothers Under Fire, alongside acclaimed television series such as Netflix´s 'Griselda, The Queen of Flow, Surviving Escobar, and I'm Not Mendoza.
