Vincent Cotroni was born in 1911 in Mammola, Calabria, Italy. He was married to Maria Bresciano. He died on September 19, 1984 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

William Obront, Montreal butcher and Montreal mafia money launderer (Montreal, 20 March 1924- 12 October 2017, Miami-Dade County) was an hostile witness at a Québec public inquiry, had links to the Gerda Munsinger scandal and was jailed n the US where he later died.
