Son of Vincenzo «James» Accurso owner of construction company Louisbourg, he became an engineer and became owner of Simard-Beaudry. Implicated in the Laval corruption scandal, he was condemned to 4 years in prison in July 2018. His eldest son James died in a car accident on 26 October 2018 near Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson in the Laurentides, Québec.
