Mikey Chinchilla is a seasoned musician and audio engineer. Born and raised in Longwood, Florida, his obsession with music began at a very early age, singing before even learning how to speak. At thirteen he picked up drumming and hasn't put down the sticks since. During his freshman year in high school, his father surprised him with recording software, a gift that would ultimately lead him to his love of recording and the founding of Chinchilla Studios.
At 23 years old, Mikey Chinchilla now holds a marketing degree from the University of Central Florida and significant expertise in music production and performance, with training from award-winning audio engineers William Snyder, Eyal Levi, and Joey Sturgis, vocal coaching from singer, songwriter, and actor Evan Charles, and percussion instruction from Bryan Disbro and Willie Rast. Mikey is the current lead singer and drummer for the metalcore outfit Lies Behind Your Eyes.
