Biography

Originally from Ayrshire, Heather began her love affair with the moving image at Aberdeen University, where she graduated with an MA (hons) in Film Studies. She specialised in early German Expressionist cinema and the films of Alfred Hitchcock, before being accepted into The Brighton Film School to study Motion Picture Production.

After graduating, Heather continued her education with a postgraduate diploma in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh and was appointed director of Stray Productions Ltd in 2018. She now runs her own film production company, White Heather Productions, which was incorporated in 2024.
