Oguz Anbarli is a Turkish screenwriter and director. His short films Mercan (2019) and Pinhole (2015) were screened at international film festivals.
In 2026, he completed his first feature film, The Name of the Song (Sırtına Bir Şey Giy), set in rural Turkey. The film explores isolation and generational tension through the relationship between silence and rock music. His work focuses on character-driven storytelling and understated visual observation.
