Shilpa Shinde, born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a renowned Indian television actress celebrated for her versatile roles. Raised in a Marathi family, she is the daughter of the late High Court judge and Geeta Shinde, a dedicated homemaker. Shilpa's familial bonds extend to her siblings, including brother Ashutosh Shinde and sisters Shubha and Archana Shinde.

Graduating in psychology, Shilpa embarked on her television journey in 2001 with the show "Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai," portraying the character of Amrita. However, it was her iconic role as Koyal Narayan in SAB TV's "Chidiya Ghar" (2011) that brought her widespread recognition. The pinnacle of her fame arrived with the portrayal of Angoori Bhabhi in the sitcom "Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai" (2015), making her a household name.

In 2001, Shilpa made her silver screen debut in the Telugu movie "Chinna" and later starred in "Shivani," directed by Suresh Verma. Despite her success in the television industry, Shilpa's foray into films showcased her versatility as an artist.
