Biography

Ferit Karol is who started to scripting for his first feature film Kumbara (Penny Bank) won Best Project Award at the 28th Ankara International Film Festival Project Development Competition in 2017 which his script was completed with Serkan Fakili. He also won Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, Antalya Film Forum Project Development Award (2019) with Kumbara (Penny Bank). He had first international presentation to Meetings on the Bridge Project Development and Co-production Market which is within IKSV Istanbul International Film Festival in 2018 with Kumbara (Penny Bank). In the same year, he received production support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with Kumbara. He completed the shooting of Kumbara (Penny Bank) in the last months of 2019. The film is currently in post-production.
