His dedication to storytelling is evident through his extensive filmography, which showcases a broad spectrum of narratives, from the heart-touching short film 'I am not Crazy' that won third prize at the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival in 2013, to the internationally acclaimed music video 'Assam Skies,' which garnered the "Outstanding Achievement Award" at the Druk International Film Festival in 2020.

Beyond his accomplishments as a filmmaker, Tarunabh is deeply committed to education and mentorship within the industry. He has conducted over 40 filmmaking workshops across leading educational institutions in Assam and has been a pivotal figure in nurturing acting talent through his 'Onscreen Acting' workshops, providing guaranteed casting roles in his films for all participants. His efforts have opened doors for over 150 actors, highlighting his dedication to cultivating new talent and his belief in the power of education.

Tarunabh's work also extends to international collaborations and contributions to regional and national television, with notable projects such as the ad campaign for the Directorate of Tourism, Assam, and the political ads campaign for the Indian National Congress Party for the 2014 Assam State Elections. His pioneering project 'Avataran,' the first Science Fiction Fantasy Feature Film of Assam, showcases his ambition and skill in bringing groundbreaking narratives to the screen, leveraging state-of-the-art VFX, 3D, CGI, and animation to revolutionize regional cinema. As of 2026, he is working on multiple Animated film projects, besides contributing regularly with original films on his Youtube Channels 'TD Film Studio' and 'Learn With TD'. He has just finished working on an international animated feature film 'The Golden Princess'.
