Biography

Roberto Moliterni was born in Matera, European capital of culture 2019. He attended the Rai/Script course for screenplay writers. As screenplay writer he won the Malerba Prize, and he was awarded two special mentions at the Mattador Prize and at the Sonar Script Prize. His recent works include a contribution to the text of the documentary film "Mater Matera", directed by Simone Aleandri, produced by Clipper Media and Rai Cinema, and the scripts of all the episodes of the anthology film "Provincia bianca" [White Province]. In March 2015 his first novel "Arrivederci a Berlino Est" was published by Rai Eri (La Giara Prize, Basilicata Prize). "Centosanti" is the first short film he has directed.
