Biography

Anabelle Ciancuillo is a bicoastal based actress and producer whose work is rooted in character and physicality.

A Chicago native and CODA (child of deaf adults), Anabelle grew up experiencing communication as something that extends far beyond spoken words. That perspective became an early influence on the way she observes people and approaches performance, with an emphasis on behavior, presence, and the details that make a character feel lived-in rather than performed.

Her interest in acting began onstage as a child and developed into serious training in Chicago, where she studied extensively while building her professional foundation in theatre. She went on to perform with respected Chicago companies including Steep Theatre and Shattered Globe Theatre before expanding into film and television.

Her screen work includes "An Ornament for Christmas", "Trending", "The Veil", "The Don’t Call Me Sweetheart! Show", and "At Home with Kevin". She has also worked behind the camera as a producer, further developing her interest in the complete storytelling process.

Anabelle’s approach to acting reaches well beyond traditional scene study. Movement and physical disciplines have become an important part of her creative life, including Mauy Thai, aerial work, surfing, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding and scuba diving. She views those experiences not simply as skills, but as ways of developing focus, adaptability, courage, and a deeper connection between an actor’s physical life and emotional work.

After establishing herself in Chicago, Anabelle relocated to Los Angeles and is now bi-coastal and continues to work across film, television, and independent productions. Whether working on stage or on camera, she is drawn to discovering the human being underneath the dialogue and bringing specificity, curiosity, and authenticity to the characters she plays.
