Vee Shi is an AACTA-nominated filmmaker from China, based in Melbourne. A recipient of Australian Directors Guild and Writers' Guild awards, he was selected by Screen Producers Australia as One To Watch in 2023. His latest short film, Jia, won the 2024 Screen Producers Australia Short Film Production of the Year and the 2024 Iris Prize Youth Jury Award, as well as Best Direction and Best Actor in an Australian Short Film at Flickerfest 2023. Vee works as a Development Executive at Big and Little Films.
