- Richa Chandra is an American actress born in Canada to Indian parents.
Her professional training began in New York City at the Herbert Berghof (HB) Studio in Greenwich Village in the Uta Hagen Technique.
Richa has worked opposite accomplished actors including Nicole Kidman, Manisha Koirala, David Arquette, Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as well as global music artists in her acting endeavors.
Richa is a proud, long time volunteer with Musicians on Call, a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare environments. She serves as a Volunteer Guide who, along with the Volunteer Musician, delivers live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their beds.
Richa continues her volunteer work with Musicians on Call in an additional role. She is a Co-Host along with a Volunteer Musician and the Seacrest Studios manager for a live video broadcast program for Children's Hospital inpatients via the Musicians on Call partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

- After earning a Public Health degree and a minor in Chemistry, Richa worked for several years as a Research Study Assistant at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York City on the landmark, national, multi-institutional Childhood Cancer Survivor Study / Long Term Follow Up Study funded by a grant from the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health, now coordinated through St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, under study principal investigators/steering committee members from both MSKCC and University of Minnesota.
- Richa was the the first and only Indian American woman to have worked in the William Morris Agency Latin Music Touring division representing artists including Juanes, Arturo Sandoval, Shakira, Luis Miguel and Enrique Iglesias. She was the first Indian American woman to work in the Latin Music touring business. Richa speaks Spanish.
- Richa continues to work as a management consultant in the music industry including tour management and artist management. Most recently she worked in artist management with artists Ali Sethi (including tour managing his first US/Canada tour in 2023), Raja Kumari and Dana Williams.
- Richa was featured in the debut music video for the r&b/pop/boy band 98 DEGREES in their breakthrough hit song 'Invisible Man' on Motown Records, in 1997. This may make her the first Indian American woman in a Motown Records video. She was the first Indian American woman in an American boy band video of the 90s.
- She has appeared in and made cameos in several music videos including those of artists Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Matthew West, Luke Bryan, Corb Lund and Hayes Carll.
