Diego Avelino is a Brazilian actor known for his film work, including Half Brother and The Friendly Beast . He was born in Garanhuns in the state of Pernambuco, but lives in São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated from the School of Dramatic Art at USP (University of São Paulo) and began acting at a young age in local theater, taking part in a few plays.
His first film was the feature film The Friendly Beast and, soon after, the film Half Brother, for which he was awarded Best Actor.
