Biography

Gabrielle Nunzio is an award winning performer and filmmaker from Buffalo, NY. Known as Elle to her friends and family, she has two decades of experience in theatre and film in addition to her BFA in Acting. Initially starting as an actor, Elle also has experience as a writer, model, stunt fighter/stage combatant, fight choreographer, intimacy coordinator, and, most recently, as a director.

After working on commercials and in theatre as a small child, she made her film debut at the age of 13. Recent notable acting roles include Sheila in "Frenzy Moon", Rhiannon in "Bound" (Best Actress Winner), Jane in "Jane and the Brain" (Best Actress Nominee), and Zoe Rubinski in "Unbillievable: The Bills Mafia Movie".

She made her screenwriting and directing debut in 2025 with "Reverie", a 3x award winning short film, including for Best Debut Film. Her subsequent directing turn, "Cosmos", will be released in 2026.

Gabrielle Nunzio (known as Elle by her friends and family) was born June 24th, 1999 in Buffalo, New York to parents Lori and Frank Nunzio. After starting a unfortunately short lived rock band with her two younger sisters as a child, she discovered a love of performing. Since the age of 7, Elle has accumulated over 15 years of acting experience in both theatre and film, as well as training in many areas including, but not limited to, stage combat and modeling. Elle graduated with a BFA in Acting from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2021, and has since gone on to work on such projects as "Unbillievable! The Movie" and "Chicken Strips: The Trials and Tribulations of Becoming a Garage Band".

Won Best Actress at the TFA Pioneer Awards for her role in Love's a Drug (2023).

Is a trained stage combatant, with experience in weapons such as single sword, broadsword, quarterstaff, rapier/dagger, as well as unarmed combat.

Won Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Buffalo 48 Hour Film Awards in 2025 for her role in "Bound".
