Jacqueline Geurts (aka Jacky Geurts) was born in Hamilton, New Zealand, but later moved to Auckland where she graduated from Massey University with a Masters Degree in Marine Biology. In 2006 she started training as an actress and presenter and started working in Theatre, Film and Television. In 2015 she stared as the Lead in Interloafer directed by Aidee Walker, a short film that won the 48hr film competition for which she was nominated for Best Actress. After starring in numerous indie movies (Urban Turban), short films, theatre shows and television commercials, she was cast in the popular New Zealand TV series Shortland Street as Tina Hay. She is best known for her roles in; Deep Water directed by Renny Harlin, as Amanda the Crazy Patient in Ash vs Evil Dead, and as Julia Stevens in The Bad Seed.

In 2015 Jacqueline was also cast as a Presenter / Marine Biologist in the hit TV Show Coast New Zealand for 3 seasons starring opposite Neil Oliver, created by Great Southern Television.

Jacqueline Geurts grew up competing in sports and represented her country as a 2nd Dan Black Belt in ITF Taekwon-Do World Champs and World Cup competitions, winning medals in her divisions. She is well versed in several martial art styles such as; Boxing, Wushu, Wing Chun, FMA, and Silat. Her skills also extend into other areas such as stunts and often performs as either a stunt double for actresses such as; Samara Weaving, Jessica Rothe, Kristin Wiig, Eva Green, Shailene Woodley, Kerry Condon, or as an action actor where she performs her own stunts. Not only is Jacky confident with skills on land, but she is highly credible in the water as a Dive Instructor, a skipper, free diver and performer. She can perform stunts whether during a fight, in a wire rig, in water, on a horse or in a car. In 2017 Jacky was cast as Queens Guard in The Shannara Chronicles where she performed a hard hitting wire rig into a wall, and in 2020 as Gunnar in Cowbow Bebop where she was beaten up by Asimov played by Jan Uddin.

In 2021 Jacqueline won her Greencard in the Diversity Lottery and has been living in the USA since then and is part of SAG-Aftra.
