Biography

Lindsay Thompson is a cinematographer and visual storyteller known for crafting emotionally resonant, compositionally rich imagery with a strong sense of atmosphere and tone. Her work brings a painterly sensibility to lighting and camera movement, often exploring character and subtext through quiet, intentional visual choices.

Her cinematography credits include Fly High, an internationally distributed documentary celebrating the sport of canine disc and the bond between dogs and their handlers; Table Chatter, a fast-paced ensemble comedy rooted in RPG culture; Artemis, a mythological reimagining of the Greek goddess in modern-day society; and Atlas Falling, a survival-thriller that explores trauma and isolation through minimalist, immersive visuals.

An alumna of the ASC Masterclass, Lindsay trained under members of the American Society of Cinematographers and continues to deepen her craft through collaboration, mentorship, and visual exploration. She is actively building a body of work grounded in cinematic storytelling, emotional clarity, and aesthetic precision - with long-term aspirations of ASC membership.
