Biography

Throughout his many years working in the music world, Cris Ciampoli has distinguished himself from his peers with his ability to craft engaging atmospheres and rousing scores that complement and enhance projects he's worked on. His themes range from energetic and rhythmic to emotive and otherworldly. During his career as a musician, has achieved a remarkable consensus that led him to sign a contract as artist and author of pop music with EMI-Parlophone. He participated in the Sanremo Festival, winning the Gold Lion and releasing an entire album and two singles, promoted in the best radio and television programs on MTV TRL Italy 1, RAI 1, RAI 2 and others. His live performances led him to take the stage with many world-renowned artists such as Gloria Gaynor, U2, Noa, Pavarotti, Oasis and others. He has produced music for numerous documentaries for some of most important companies. He works as a producer for artists and as a writer of pop songs, soundtracks and music for video-games. Recently he focused his work on the original soundtrack of the two film-documentaries: "Francesco, un anno di pontificato" and "27 Aprile 20141: racconto di un evento", and participated at the International Film Festival of Rome. Has written the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of "Camminando nel cielo", presented at the Giffoni Film Festival 2015; the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of "La mia Famiglia a Soqquadro", presented at the Skip City International Film Festival - Tokyo; the original Soundtrack of "Tides", a film by the multi award winning director Alessandro Negrini, that is the winner of the award Sundrive motion at Sole Luna doc Festival in Treviso, for the best Soundtrack. He recently has written some country/blues songs that are chosen by Gabriele Muccino for his last Film "L'estate addosso - Summertime", that is the winner of the "Soundtrack Stars Award 2016" for the bast soundtrack at the Venezia Film Festival 2016.
