- Sister of Nadia Boulanger.
- Buried in the Boulanger family crypt at Montmartre Cemetery in Paris. Her sister Nadia joined her there 61 years later.
- Was physically fragile her whole short life. At age 2 she nearly died from pneumonia, which weakened her immune system and left her susceptible to all sorts of ailments. Lili's music is often dark because it reflects the loneliness and depression she felt from being chronically ill.
- Died at 24 from an intestinal affliction. Sources differ as to whether it was extrapulmonary tuberculosis or Crohn's disease.
