Every time we talk about teenagers, we tend to think of only the problems they face in a relationship. A teenager's life is beyond having boyfriends and girlfriends. At this early age, teens face problems that make them question their own existence. That's very sad.

I am a very bad actor. I can't pretend and act. So, I would fetch one event or an experience which is remotely connected to the situation on screen. I would look for the closest emotion. If I couldn't find, then I would build an emotion.

[on being asked to define success] I believe for me, fame, wealth, money, monetary things, they do not really equate success, popularity doesn't equate success. Obviously people can have their own perspective, but if they are only looking at these things, that fame may define success, then maybe you're wrong and you need to rethink your priorities. I do have my own goals, I am at competition with my own self instead of others, and instead of trying to elbow out everyone i want to hold hands with everyone and exist gracefully within my surrounding and be able to do great things for myself, for my family, for my loved ones, to be able to lift up the people who don't have a voice, to be able to lend my voice to the people who have a voice but they are unable to speak at the moment.

[on what advice would she give to other people battling depression] It's unfair to advise people, it's the last thing they would want to hear from someone else, because every single person is going through a battle of their own, and the things that they have faced in their life, things that they have done and things that have been done to them, is defining the present, so we don't get a take on that, nobody gets an opinion on that. All we can do is try to help them but not dictate terms to them, that this is what you should do and this is what you shouldn't because it's completely unfair. They have gone through their own battles, so it's unfair for you to have a take on it. All you can have is empathy, but not sympathy.
