Biography

Danene Montella is an award-winning actress, writer and producer based in Los Angeles, California, originally from Rhode Island. She's an ongoing student at the acclaimed Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Hollywood, CA. Most recently, she was cast as a lead in the upcoming fantasy film Age of Stone & Sky: The Warlock's Curse. She was cast as a lead in the Sci-Fi TV series pilot, Solus - featuring Man in the High Castle's Bruce Locke - which screened at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. The Time's Up film that she co-wrote, produced and stars in entitled Club Rat$ had its official premiere at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival, screened at 12 more festivals and won 6 awards. She won the award for "Best Actress" for her dramatic role in the film, Fast Hearts. Passionate about storytelling and human relationships, she views each role as an opportunity to expand both her craft and her spirit.
