- Persephonie Rose is an American author and producer and co-founder of the visual effects studio Area 77 VFX. Working across publishing, film, and television, she has contributed to visual effects production for more than 25 network television episodes and multiple feature films.
Rose holds a Master of Fine Arts in Motion Picture Arts from Florida State University and has taught storytelling and film at the university level. She develops original intellectual property for novels, television, and feature films.
Her work focuses on historical fantasy where myth, power, and dangerous devotion shape the fate of kingdoms.
She is the author of the forthcoming dystopian anthology A Cowardly Old World (2027) and an epic fantasy series scheduled for publication in 2029. Rose splits her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles and is of Irish and Hungarian Romani heritage, a lineage that informs her interest in folklore, myth, and the hidden histories of women.
