Born 1996 in Istanbul, Turkey to an Iranian family, Bijan moved to Vancouver, Canada at age twelve where he attended King George Secondary school. He studied filmmaking at Simon Fraser University and graduated with a bachelor's degree. He has created several short films and features and has collaborated as an actor, editor, writer, and filmmaker. His work as a director includes working titles and previously released ones such as: 'Makyo', 'Drug Train', 'Three Distinct Impressions'.
