Botond Püsök

Director Botond Püsök was born in Transylvania, Romania. His feature documentary, Too Close, premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2022, was awarded at several international film festivals including Fipadoc Biarritz, received the Hungarian Film Critics' Prize for best documentary, and was nominated for the Gopo Award in Romania. Botond also works as a cinematographer and dramaturgist, his main interest is the field of creative documentary, character driven stories focusing on human rights and exploring the boundaries of humanity in challenging life situations.
