Biography

John Wamsley is an actor, writer and theatre creator, and a member of the Alderville First Nation. Film/TV credits include Sheriff Country (2025), Masterpiece (2024), Revenge of the Black Best Friend (2022), and Save the Date (2022), among others. John is also known for his work as Fire Captain Catáwi on Rubble & Crew (2025), Anime Joe on Doomlands (2024) and on stage at the Stratford Festival.
