Biography

Marie is a New York based filmmaker and author hailing from São Paulo, Brazil. Starting her journey into the arts as an actor at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute, Marie quickly established a passion for directing and writing. Marie’s debut novel ‘As I Search for a Soft Place to Fall’ was released in 2025 by Barnes & Noble Press. She has directed and completed two short films, ‘Celine’ and ‘FISH.’
