Biography

Mikael started out as a teacher of the arts and language. He is educated at the University of Lund and University of Malmö in both drama, language, arts and film directing.

Mikael financed his first feature film, Gemina Vitae, all by himself with private loans from different banks.

Mikael was born Larsson, from his father of Swedish descent. Later on he assumed his mothers Jewish last name of Winberg and later on changing it to its original spelling - Weinberg.
