Biography

Andy Suess was born on January 19, 1969 in Braunschweig, Germany.

In 2009 he moved to Berlin to truly commit himself to the art of writing, directing and acting in film, theatre and radio plays and made his debut on stage in 2011.

Formerly, a member of the improvisational theater group 'Die Flughunde', he has also played with the group 'Improfabrik" in 2015, as well as being part of the performing duo at the 'Improthek'.

Both in the film and television genre ('Who Am I', 'Outside is where you are not') and in the theater ('Lola et David') he is proficient.

Together with Sascha Krüger, they presented spontaneous readings and gags as a moderation and comedy duo at 'Die 5. Lesung'.

Besides all of that, Andy Suess also presented the poetry slam "Poetry Couch" as the host.
