Sylvia Kurth Director and Writer
Sylvia Kurth studied at the Cologne Conservatorium of Music and founded her Theater - Dance Company Sylvia Kurth where she worked as a director - choreographer, writer and producer for more than 25 years for: Theater - Events - Exhibitions and the LA NAHA Award Show. Brad Silberling saw Sylvia's work and encouraged her to pursue a film career. She switched her career to film, studied directing, and writing at the LACC. Her first job in the US was as a segment director for a 3D free floating in midair without glasses projector that she presented at the 2000 Dance Fair in Essen, NRW, Germany and the UCLA. She is the director and writer of Masked Identities: The Masks Don't Lie. Her partner Markus Kmitta Kurth and she formed the Masks Don't Lie. LLC, Film and Music Production Company.
