Tricia Black is an award-winning actor and comedian. They are known for their work as Detective Tara Swallows on the Amazon Freevee/CBC series "Pretty Hard Cases". Tricia can currently be seen in "Wayward" on Netflix and "Small Achievable Goals" on CBC. Recent TV credits include "Starfleet Academy" (Paramount/CBS), "What We Do In The Shadows" (FX), "Stories From My Gay Grandparents" (kindaTV) and the upcoming series "Miniature Wife" (NBC/Peacock).

Tricia voices Jason, the lead role in the animated series "Summer Memories" (Aircraft/Family). For this role, she received a Canadian Screen Award for Best Animation Voice Actor.

Tricia holds two Canadian Screen Awards for their work in the web series "Band Ladies" and "Stories From My Gay Grandparents" Tricia is an Alumna of The Second City Toronto. They are originally from New Brunswick, Canada.
