Biography

Simay Argento is a Melbourne-based actress, performer, and cosplay artist of Turkish, Italian, and Maltese heritage. Trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, Cabaret, Broadway, and Tap, she studied Musical Theatre at APO Arts Academy (Dance World Studios) before continuing her acting training at Melbourne Actors Lab under Peter Kalos. Her professional screen career began with Neighbours (1985) and has since expanded into international feature films, including Cult Girls (2019) alongside Jane Badler and Rage (2021) starring the late Richard Norton. As a cosplay performer, she is widely recognized for portraying 'Catwoman' at major Australian conventions and charity events, including Supanova, Comic Con, PAX, and the Cat Lovers Show.
