Brian Jewell, born in 1963 in Leeton, NSW to parents Bernard (Tony) and Pauline Jewell, embarked on a journey into drama during his teenage years. He was cast in productions such as "The Wizard of Oz," "Up the Down Staircase," and "Big Rock at Candy's Mountain." In 1981, Brian chose to pursue a career with the Australian Army, where he dedicated 12 years of service before transitioning to become a health care professional.

An accomplished actor and director, Brian is also a distinguished screenwriter with multiple awards to his name for his screenplays "Fields of Green" (2021) and "Powder Milk and Ice Cream" (2023).
