Saskia Norman, also known as Saskia Strnischtie, was born in Vienna, Austria to actor, Hjalmar Este and veterinarian, Christine Strnischtie. Norman spent the first 18 years of her life surrounded by the theatre. In 2013, Norman left her theatre roots in Vienna behind and moved to Los Angeles, where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ever since, Norman has been working successfully on stage and in front of the camera in Europe and the US.
