Tony Yang(VII)

Tony Yang is a Chinese-American film producer based in Los Angeles and New York City. A Sundance Producer's Intensive Fellow and graduate of Columbia University's Creative Producing Masters program, Yang has produced numerous feature films and over forty short films. His projects have premiered at top festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and more. Most recently, Yang was one of the lead producers of LUCKY LU, which premiered at Directors' Fortnight at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival, and BLUE SUN PALACE, a New York Times Critics Pick which premiered at Critics Week in the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the French Touch Jury Award. Yang also served as co-producer for ROSEMEAD starring Lucy Liu which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival and won the Prix du Public UBS audience award at the Locarno Film Festival. He served as an executive producer for the feature films, BUNNYLOVR, which premiered at Sundance 2025, and SEAGRASS, which won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. Selected as one of Variety's Top 10 producers to watch in 2025, he recently won the Indie Spirit Producers Award in 2026.
